7. Chainmail

Ring

Sterling Silver, Sterling Neodynium Magnet Clasp

I started making this ring because I thought a chainmail ring would be a unique, brand-defining piece—then I found out they already exist, and people are making them in ways that are way more advanced than mine. But I had already made it, and I liked it, so here we are.

The first version didn’t have a clasp, which meant you had to wiggle it on like a too-tight skirt, and when you took it off, it just flopped. So I added a magnet clasp. It makes things easier, though it has its quirks—it can pinch if you’re not careful, but it’s also less likely to get caught on something and hurt your finger (which happens more often than you’d think).

So, not exactly a flagship product, but I can make them at a better price than most—partly because of the clasp, partly because I might not value my own labor correctly. If you want one, let me know.
